IMS Ambulance Service specialises in patient transport for hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and nursing homes ensuring the timely, efficient and professional transport of patients for admission, discharge, medical appointments and inter-facility transfers.
IMS is licensed pursuant to the Health Care Act 2008 and we are approved to carry out low, medium and high acuity transport of patients who are haemodynamically stable. Our commitment to client service ensures a prompt Ambulance response to all transport bookings to improve hospital patient flow. This improved efficiency and dedicated service to hospitals delivers significant cost savings whilst at the same time maintaining a standard of care and Ambulance Service of the highest level. IMS can also offer discounted service fees below the South Australian Gazetted Rates for Non-Emergency Ambulance Transport for our contracted clients providing direct savings to hospital cost centre budgets.
Whilst we specialise in Patient Transport, our professional teams are also available to provide Paramedical Services, Event Medical and Ambulance Standby Services at sporting and community events and any other location where Paramedical and Ambulance Services are required.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective from 7th August 2023 the IMS Non-Emergency Ambulance (Patient Transport Service) division has been sold to St John Ambulance Service and all Non-Emergency Ambulance Transport bookings for inter-facility transfers, medical escorts, discharge transfers and NEPT can be made via the following on line link below, or by visiting St John Patient Transport Services.
